Sicame, the Group's subsidiary and cradle based in Pompadour in Corrèze (France), welcomed Marianne Laigneau, Director of the Enedis Management Board, for a tour of the factory. 

At the heart of this meeting was the shared desire to meet the challenges of the "new electrification", to enable the massive deployment of new electrical uses and the integration of renewable energies distributed throughout the territory. 

The visit, punctuated by a presentation of the subsidiary's production tools, investments and talents, was also an opportunity to salute the exemplary commitment of the Sicame team who, in collaboration with Enedis, provided the emergency supplies needed to restore electricity after the storms at the end of 2023 (Ciarán and Domingos). 

Lastly, there was a constructive exchange of views on the challenges of social and environmental responsibility, in which Sicame Group joins Enedis in its strong ambitions for the networks sector: social challenges, reduction of environmental impact and responsible purchasing were all on the menu. 

The day ended with the signing of an agreement to set up the “Écoles des réseaux pour la transition énergétique” in Corrèze, a program designed to anticipate and support recruitment needs in the energy sector.
